Winwell FAQ

What is Winwell?

Winwell is a platform for small online accountability groups called rooms. A room holds up to 15 people, each member declares one specific goal, the room runs a fixed 3, 7, 30, or 90 days, and at the finish line the host verifies who actually did the thing. Feed, live video, focus sessions, habit tracking, and payments are all built in.

How much does Winwell cost?

Winwell is free to open and run a room, with no monthly fee. If you charge for seats, you keep 85% of every seat. Winwell's only fee is a flat 15%, and it covers credit-card processing too, so there is nothing on top. We only make money when you do.

Are there credit card or payment processing fees?

No. Winwell's flat 15% fee includes payment processing. Hosts receive a clean 85% of every seat sold, and members pay exactly the listed seat price at checkout.

How is Winwell different from Skool?

Skool is a community and course platform that costs $9 to $99 a month plus a transaction fee. Winwell is accountability-first: small time-boxed rooms with one goal per member, host verification of results, and no monthly fee, just a flat 15% of paid seats that even covers card processing. If your core product is a course inside a large community, Skool fits well. If you run small goal-focused groups and want to be paid per seat with proof at the end, Winwell fits better.

What is an accountability group?

An accountability group is a small group of people who each commit to a specific goal and check in regularly so everyone actually finishes. It differs from a mastermind, which is about peer strategy and brainstorming, and from a cohort course, which is about learning a curriculum from an instructor.

How many people can join a room?

Up to 15, and the host can set the room smaller. Small groups keep people visible and accountable; past fifteen, members start to hide, so Winwell caps every room there.

How long does a room last?

The host picks a fixed length when opening the room: 3, 7, 30, or 90 days. The countdown is visible to everyone, and the room formally finishes on the last day with a survey and verified results. Hosts can rerun a finished room for the next cohort in one click.

Can I charge members to join my room?

Yes. Name a price for a seat, connect payouts with Stripe, and new members pay right at the door before taking their seat. You keep 85% of every seat with no monthly platform fee.

Is Winwell free to use?

Yes. Opening and running a room is free, with no monthly fee and no card required. You can run entirely free rooms forever. Winwell only earns anything if you charge for seats, and then it is a flat 15% that also covers card processing. We only make money when you do.

Can I use a free room as a lead magnet?

Yes, and it works well. Run a free room that delivers a real result for your audience, then invite the people who showed up and finished into a paid room. Nothing builds trust like helping someone cross a finish line, and the proof is right there in the room's feed. Because hosting is free with no monthly fee, there is no cost to try it.

Do I need Zoom or other tools to run a room?

No. Live multi-party video with mute, screenshare, chat, and fullscreen is built into every room, and the host can schedule calls on the room's calendar. Check-ins, habit tracking, focus sessions, file and photo sharing, and payments are all included, so a room runs entirely on Winwell.

How do I join an accountability group on Winwell?

Browse the public directory at winwell.club/rooms, filter for free or paid rooms, and take a seat by declaring your goal. Private rooms are joined with an invite code from the host.

What happens when a room finishes?

Members mark their goal done, the host verifies each real result, and verified members get a public award page plus a Finisher badge on their profile trophy shelf. The room collects reviews, and the host can rerun it for the next group.
