What’s new at Winwell.

Product improvements for hosts, members, and the rooms themselves.

Undo a goal verification

Verifying a goal is the finish line: it unlocks a member's award, lets them leave a review, and pings them that you signed off. The host tools now spell that out before you tap, and ask first if you are verifying someone who has not marked their goal done yet. Verified someone early? A new 'undo verify' link on their seat puts the goal back to in-progress and re-locks the award, so they can mark it done again when they are really there.

Your wins land with a bang

The email you get when a host verifies your goal, or when you earn a badge, is no longer a plain block of text. It arrives as a proper little celebration: a verified seal, a splash of Winwell color, and your win featured front and center. Everyday notifications got a matching brand refresh too, so everything from Winwell now looks like it came from Winwell.

Hosts can message the whole room at once

Right under the attendee roster there's now a 'Message everyone' box. Write one subject and message and it reaches every member at once, both by email and in their Winwell inbox, signed with your name as host. Perfect for kickoff notes, schedule changes, or a nudge before the finish line. Members can tune broadcast emails in their inbox settings like any other notification.

Hosts can remove a member from their room

Every row in the attendee roster now has a remove action. If someone needs to go, the host can take them out of the room in one click. They lose access right away. Removing a paid seat does not refund it on its own, so pair it with a refund when that's the right thing to do. Hosts can't remove themselves.

Hosts see their earnings in the app

Your room tools now include an Earnings panel: how much you've made across every paid seat, with a per-room breakdown of seats sold, what members paid, and what you keep after the 15% fee. Stripe still handles the actual payouts to your bank; this is just the friendly at-a-glance version so you don't have to dig through the Stripe dashboard.

Hosts can refund a paid seat

Paid seats in the attendee roster now have a refund action. One click returns the member's payment through Stripe, unwinds the platform fee and the payout to you, releases their seat, and lets them know. Use it when someone asks for their money back. The refund can take a few days to land on their statement, the same as any card refund.

Join the waitlist when a room is full

Full room? You can now add yourself to its waitlist right at the door and see your place in line. The moment a seat frees up, because a member left or was refunded, everyone waiting gets an email and an inbox notice to come claim it. First to grab it gets in. Taking a seat clears you from the list automatically.

2026-07-12

Delete your account yourself

Your profile settings now have a delete-account option. Confirm with your password and it erases your account and personal data for good, no emailing support required. If you still host a room, close or hand it off first so your members aren't left stranded. It can't be undone.

2026-07-12

Discount codes for your room

Hosts running a paid room can now create discount codes, right in the room tools. Take a percentage or a flat amount off the seat price, and optionally cap how many times a code can be used, perfect for a launch or an early-bird push. Members type the code at checkout and see the new price before they pay. A code only counts a use once a discounted seat is actually paid for.

Verifying goals, made two-way

Saying 'I did it' isn't a one-way door anymore. Members can add an optional note or proof when they claim, undo their claim if they jumped early, and hosts can send a claim back for another shot with a note. Hosts also get a clear 'waiting on you to verify' queue and a heads-up whenever someone marks their goal done.

2026-07-12

Hosts can track and export their attendees

Hosts get an attendee roster in their room tools: every member's name, email, goal, join date, status, and whether they paid. Download it as a CSV to follow up, run your program, or drop it into your own tools. Only the host sees it.

Polls in the feed

Ask the room a question and let everyone vote. Hit 'make a poll' in the composer, write your question, and add two to five options. Room-mates tap to vote right on the post and watch the results fill in live. One vote each, changeable any time.

2026-07-12

Tag a room-mate with @

Type @ in any post or comment and pick a room-mate to tag them. They get a notification that you mentioned them, so it's an easy way to pull someone in, answer them, or cheer them on by name. You can only tag people in your room.

Rooms show their start and finish dates up front

A room's header now spells out both when the sprint starts and when it finishes, not just the finish line, so anyone deciding whether to join can see the full window at a glance.

Trophy medallions, full-screen live video, free/paid room filter

Badges on your profile shelf now look like medals you would actually wear. The live room gained a full-screen button. And the room directory can filter to free or paid rooms.

One flat fee: hosts keep 85%

Pricing got simpler. No monthly fee, ever. When you charge for seats, you keep 85% and Winwell's flat 15% covers everything, credit-card fees included. We only make money when you do.

The Winwell blog and FAQ

Honest guides on running accountability groups and paid masterminds, including how Winwell compares to Skool, Circle, and Mighty Networks. Plus a proper FAQ covering pricing and how rooms work.

Email notifications, tuned your way

Every notification category now has two switches in your inbox: in-app and email. Verified goals, badges, kudos, live calls, new members, comments, and highlights, each on its own toggle.

2026-07-11

The feed is now your room's activity stream

Every room moment shows up in the feed: who just took a seat (with a nudge to say hi and add a photo), who started a focus session so you can join them, when the host schedules or opens a live call, and every verified goal and badge. React to any of it like a normal post.

2026-07-11

Host awards on your profile

Hosts now earn their own recognition, not just members. Open your first room, run five, verify goals, seat members, and collect kept-promise reviews to unlock host awards like Room Opener, Verifier, and Crowd Favorite. They sit in a Host awards shelf on your profile, so anyone deciding whether to join can see your track record.

2026-07-11

Your rooms flag what needs you

The My Rooms page now opens with anything that needs your attention, and any room where members are waiting on you to verify a finished goal wears a count so nothing slips.

2026-07-11

The feed is your room's front page

Open a room and you land straight on the feed, like a social app. The face wall moved into its own people tab, the invite code shrank to a slim strip, and reactions no longer run off the edge on mobile.

2026-07-11

Write a game plan for your room

Hosts can now write a game plan: the phase-by-phase story of how the sprint runs, from kickoff energy to the messy middle to the finish-line sprint. New members read it at the door before they take a seat, and everyone can pull it up in the room's plan tab. It carries over when you rerun the room.

2026-07-11

More ways to connect on your profile

Profiles can now carry a public email and phone alongside your social handles, so room-mates have real ways to reach you off-platform. Both are optional and only show if you add them.

2026-07-11

Direct messages with your room-mates

You can now message the people in your rooms one to one. It's the private side of accountability: check in on someone, offer a hand, or ask for a nudge. Open a room-mate's profile and hit Message, or use the new messages icon in the nav. You'll only ever be reachable by people you share a room with.

2026-07-11

A momentum leaderboard for your room

Hosts can switch on a momentum board that ranks room-mates by the effort they put in: check-ins, focus time, and sharing count most, with a bonus for finishing your goal. It rewards showing up day to day, not just who crosses the line first, so it pulls the whole room forward together. Off by default; turn it on in room settings.

2026-07-11

A how-it-works guide inside every room

New to a room? The people tab now opens with a short, skippable guide covering the finish line, the feed, the tools your host switched on, momentum, the MVP vote, and awards. It adapts to whatever your room has turned on.

2026-07-11

Vote for your Room MVP

Every room now has an MVP vote. Pick the room-mate who helped you most, the one who checked in, cheered you on, or kept you honest. It's a thank-you, not a contest: one changeable vote each, everyone tied at the top shares the crown, and you can never vote for yourself. Find it in the MVP tab.

2026-07-11

Daily prompts are now Daily notes

Same tool, warmer name. A daily note can be a nudge, a verse, an encouragement, or a reminder. Write one per day and the room posts it each morning as you.

2026-07-11

Post a video, not just a photo

The composer now has separate photo and video buttons, so you can drop a quick video update straight into the feed. Videos play inline right where you post them.

2026-07-11

LinkedIn on your profile

Profiles can now carry your LinkedIn alongside Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, your website, and your public email and phone.

2026-07-11

Hand-drawn icons across the app

The nav bells, the room tabs, and the photo and video buttons all wear custom hand-drawn icons now, in the same ink style as the rest of Winwell.

2026-07-11

Photos that fill the feed, and photo galleries

Photos in the feed now stretch the full width of the post, like the social apps you already know, and posting several photos at once lays them out as a gallery grid. Tap any photo to see it full screen.

2026-07-11

New reactions on posts

The reaction row got a refresh: cheer, love, care, feel-this, and pray. Same one-tap support, a couple of new ways to show up for each other.

2026-07-11

GIFs are back

The GIF button returned to the composer, now powered by GIPHY. Search a GIF and drop it straight into a post or reply. Keep it light out there.

2026-07-11

Paid rooms with Stripe checkout

Hosts connect payouts once, name a seat price, and new members pay right at the door before taking their seat.

2026-07-10

Profiles, badges, kudos, and scheduled calls

Every member now has a profile page with a photo, bio, and social links. Hosts hand out custom badges, milestones earn automatic ones, and roommates leave each other kudos. Hosts can also put live calls on the room calendar so everyone shows up at once.
