Paid Challenge Profit Calculator

Model seat price, expected enrollment, gross revenue, Winwell's 15% fee including card processing, delivery costs, refund reserve, break-even enrollment, sold-out upside, and the price required to reach a take-home goal.

How to calculate paid challenge profit

Multiply seat price by paid enrollment, subtract platform or payment fees, subtract delivery costs, and reserve money for refunds or unexpected support. Use expected enrollment rather than full capacity for the operating plan.

Start with expected enrollment, not capacity

Capacity describes the best case. Expected enrollment should be grounded in an audience, prior conversion, personal invitations, or a waitlist. Treat sold-out revenue as upside.

Work backward from the host income goal

Add the desired take-home amount to delivery costs, then divide by expected enrollment after fees and reserve. The result is a defensible seat price rather than a guess based on another creator's offer.

Keep gross revenue and take-home income separate

Gross revenue is the amount collected before fees, delivery, reserves, taxes, discounts, or chargebacks. A challenge is only economically sound when the conservative take-home case supports the work required.

Paid challenge calculator questions

How do I calculate profit for a paid challenge?

Multiply the seat price by paid enrollment, subtract payment or platform fees, subtract delivery costs, and set aside any refund reserve. This calculator shows each part separately so gross revenue is never confused with take-home income.

What costs should a challenge host include?

Include software, contractors, prizes, workbooks, advertising, guest experts, and your desired compensation. A reserve for refunds or unexpected support is useful even when it is not ultimately spent.

How much does a paid Winwell room cost?

Winwell has no monthly fee for a paid room. The host keeps 85% of each paid seat, and Winwell's 15% includes card processing. Free rooms cost nothing to host.

Is this calculator financial advice?

No. It is a planning estimate. Taxes, chargebacks, discounts, currency conversion, and costs you do not enter can change the final result.
